1.) Tell us a little bit about yourself and what it is you do for a living:

- Well… I’m an up and coming Hip-Hop producer based in Denver. I’ve
recently been gaining a lot of attention with my videos on youtube,
which is something I didn’t even expect to happen in the beginning
lol. I’m at a total of a little over a million views… which is not
ALL that much compared to SOME of the “youtube stars”… but, it’s
making an impact. So, basically, right now I’m just selling beats
online full-time and trying to get further in the game. Um… I’m a
really down-to-earth and honest person… what you see is what you
get. I’m just me.

2.) How did you get started in your career?

- To make a long story short… I started out as a dancer (b-boy) at
14 and then became an emcee at 16. By the time I hit 20, I got tired
of having to look around for beats, so I started producing myself.
After a while, trying to juggle all three got hectic, so I had to
decide which one I was going to take more seriously as a career. It
took years to finally figure it out, but in the end I realized that I
truly enjoy producing the most. It’s fun, I feel more creative, and
not to mention… it’s what pays my bills, lol.

3.) Who are some of the artists you dream to produce for?

- That list is HUGE lol. But some are; Common, Talib, Mos Def, Nas,
Jay-Z, Busta Rhymes, D’Angelo, Anthony Hamilton, Erykah Badu, Jill
Scott, Alicia Keys and Amy Winehouse. My ultimate dream is to be able
to work with A Tribe Called Quest, if they ever do an album again.

4.) Are you single or taken?

-I’m single.

5.) If you were about to go on a blind date, and you had to describe
yourself to that person, what would you tell them?

- I really suck at describing myself, lol. I’m more of a “ask
whatever specifically, and I’ll tell you straight up” type of dudes.
I ain’t really into blind dates. But, the way I look at is… if it’s
supposed to be a “blind date”, just let the element of surprise run
the show. I’d just be real with her and say, “You’re either going to
like me… or not. The same goes vice versa…. so um… good luck to
both of us, see ya’ soon!” lol.

6.) Describe your ideal woman:

- Someone that’s attractive, driven, social, stable, creative, funny,
optimistic, confident yet humble, family-oriented and mature. Someone
that I can learn new things from and of course, she’s got to be
trustworthy. Someone who’s spiritual, rather than religious. And of
course… she’s got to have a strong sexual appetite, lol.

7.) We’re sure that you get approached a lot by women. What is the
craziest thing that a woman has done to get your attention?

- lol, Straight up, I don’t really get approached like that. I mean,
I’ve been approached a few times… but no one’s done anything “crazy”
or creative, so to speak. To be honest, I’m usually very oblivious of
someone trying to get my attention. I’m so modest to the point that I
have a hard time even imagining some gorgeous woman approaching me out
the blue, lol. I always think I have to do all the damn work.

8.) What is the quickest way for a woman to get dismissed by you?

- There’s a couple things. At the top, is superficial women. If ALL
she can talk about is clubbin’, money, gossip, shopping and all the
other females who “hate” on her… I’m done! Secondly…. I honestly
think that you can tell a lot in a person by the music they listen to,
what they watch and what they read… that’s IF they read. If she’s
not open-minded enough to have interests in a wide range of things,
and is only entertained by crap… chances are, her personality and
social life will reflect that.

9.) What is something that no one knows about you?

- Um…….. I haven’t worn shorts in over 11 years, lol. You
couldn’t pay me to wear shorts, straight up! I got chicken-legs, and
I hate them lol. Even if you took me out to a hot ass beach…. ya’
damn right… I’ll still be in jeans. When my metabolism slows down
one day, maybe that’ll change. But, until then… JEANS! ALL DAY!

10.) What do you do to chill out and relax?

- I’m simple with it. I’ll either pop in a movie, read a book, drive
around or play poker with my friends. I love beer!!! So, that comes
in handy, lol. Oh… or I’ll listen to some of my records. Any
Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye, Donny Hathaway, Billie Holiday, Nina
Simone or Ahmad Jamal albums will put me in relaxation mode with the
quickness.

11.) Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

- I see myself fully established and respected as a producer/artist in
the music industry, travelling the world, breaking new artists and
running my own independent movement. By then, I should finally be
persuing a career in acting. Damn… I just realized in 5 years I’ll
be turning 30 also, lol… so, hopefully by then I’ll find the right
woman to be my wife and start a family.

12.) Any closing words, shout outs, etc.?

- Shout out to my crew Classic Blue, my protege Fat Trak, Burna and
all the fans and supporters who continue to show love. Be on the
lookout for my debut album, titled ‘Doc, U Meant It’ dropping this
year.
