I love Remy but it’s hard for me to believe what she’s saying. She’s contradicting everything she’s ever said in her songs and the person she has been portraying herself to be since she first came out.
In the interview she says she’s not an angry person and that she wouldn’t shoot a female. As a matter of fact she said something like “a female.. a female.” That seemed so fake to me b/c all her songs and a lot of the interviews she does are about her not being afraid to slap the sh*t out of any female that says something about her.
The song “When I See Her” is especially about how easily she would knock a chick out.
I just don’t believe her. It seems like something she would do and no matter the reason why she did it… she still did it. She shot somebody and she has to be punished for it.
What’s happening to her is a classic example of when life immitates art. I have much respect for her though. Other rappers rap about being hard but don’t have any evidence to back it up. She raps about being hard and really is hard.
