Now you all know SoHo is my favorite place in New York to hang out, shop, and eat. So one day after shopping with one of my friends we found we stumbled upon a cute little bar/restaurant in the heart of SoHo, on the corner of Grand Street and Thompson. We stopped in and had a drink at the bar, and I couldn’t help but notice all the cute frenchies that worked there! The place is called Cafe Noir (French) so you must have to be French to work there! After a few drinks and realizing just how cute and hip the place was, we decided to get a table. It was hard on deciding what I wanted because everything looked great on the menu. They had Lamb Chops, Wild Sea Bass, Hanger Steak, and *mmmm* Steamed Muscles and Calamari! (My mouth is watering just thinking about this!). But remembering my diet (lol) I decided to settle with the Roasted Salmon Fillet and Sauteed Spinach. Now, I’m not going to say it was the best Salmon in the world, but for the cheap price of $17.50, it wasn’t bad.
Overall, for two people, 1 appetizer, 4 alcoholic beverages, and 2 entrees, the total bill was a little less than $100.00. NOT BAD. Definitely a place you should check out if you are in the SoHo area! (Even if you just wanna check out the waiters with the French accents, lol!)
