OMG! After meeting Chilli last weekend at the Rolling Out/Cover Girl Queen’s Collection Female Panel last weekend (Pics and re-cap coming soon), I was JUST saying how I wish there were more good girl groups out and how I miss the ones of the past. Then, In comes Alicia Keys at the BET Awards, who brings out SWV, En Vogue (OMG!) and of course, TLC!!! I almost had a heart attack! Check out this great performance. I really only watch these award shows for the performances. I could care less who actually wins. Chris Brown also killed it! The boy has really grown up, and I almost feel ashamed to be lusting after him, but whatever. He brought Ciara on stage with him to perform “Take You Down”, and they rocked it! Check out Rihanna’s fake smile during the performance! lol.

Last, but not least, I think Ne-yo killed it as well. I love his song “Closer”, and he definitely did it justice. I’m glad that we have Tivo at the house, because I kept rewinding his performance and watching it over and over. Ne-yo definitely brought the house down. Loved the scenery, the dancers, and his overall show.

Other performances included T-Pain (Who brought everyone you could imagine on stage and walked in slow motion the whole night), Al Green (who earned the Lifetime Achievement Awards), Usher, (Who was outshined by Neyo and Chris Brown), Jeezy & Kanye West, and Lil Wayne (Who was weird…again).
