If Mashonda and Swizz Beatz baby boy isn’t the cutest thing I’ve ever seen, I don’t know what is.

The WEEN “Don’t Judge Me…Empower Me” panel went down this past Saturday at the Hammerstein Ballroom.  We got an invite to attend from the lovely Mikelah of Style and Vibes, but when I got there, the line was completely off the chain and wrapped around the corner! I was glad to see so many women coming together for an event such as this.

Notable females who participated in this event were Lil’ Mama, Teyana Taylor, MC Lyte, Melyssa Ford, Alesha Renee, Letoya Luckett and Valeshia Butterfield. Terrence J from 106th & Park came out to support the ladies as well.

Don’t worry you didn’t miss much. The pics look better than the event LOL it was def. catered to the teenagers, I ended up leaving early, so I didn’t see half those people. All that picture taking must have went on backstage ’cause we saw none of that…maybe that’s why they started so late. I was there at 2 and nothing got started until 3:45 !

I just want to say thanks for all the love, even thought the event started alittle late I would still call it a success. As a member of WEEN I am very proud of the event, as far as it being our first I think it went well. Nothing is ever perfect and you can’t please everyone, but WEEN appreciates everyone who attended and hopes that you will continue to support and we hope that you got the messages behind our mission.

    Love and Blessings
