The girls from Allthatsfab.com were invited to attend the Kimora Lee Fabulosity Launch Party held at Hiro in Manhattan last night. And of course, the party was a great turn out and done with a lot of class. Kimora has partnered up with JCPenney’s President, Ken Hicks, and the line, Fabulosity, will be available at JCPenneys nationwide. There wasn’t a huge celebrity turn out, but Olivia (former G-Unit member) popped out of nowhere (and must I add she looked quite fab), Mashonda, and Gabrielle Union came out to show Kimora some love.
I was able to catch up with Kimora and conduct a short interview.
Kimora on her divorce:
I couldn’t ask for a better father [for my kids]. I’ve been through a lot. I know that women everywhere especially with kids know what I’m saying and it’s difficult when you go through a little bit of a break up or situation in your family–and it’s helping me to find a supportive system and be able to work it out and move on and I think I’m doing that in style.
On her kids
My kids always come first, they are always first. I guess it’s God thats first then it’s my kids, then my children.. soo I’m always working .I’m always on it’s 24 hrs a day and then I’m a designer.
Does Russell help you with the kids?
We help eachother with everything now he’s very supportive.
How does Fabulosity differ from BabyPhat?
I did approach it differently. It’s just that it’s–it’s a different price point. Similiar enough–bright colors, a lot of fun, a lot of tailoring, a lot of school girl looks, a lot of trends I’ve embraced, the preppy, the school girl, sporty chique. So we have a lot of varieties, and it’s quite different. The prices and age group are a little lower even though techniquely in this line I wear a lot of, well You’ll See!! When you see these girls on the runway you’re gonna know Kimora did that because I could wear them and there are certain things my kids would wear, there are certain things my kids wouldn’t wear! There are certain things I’d wear, there are certain things I wouldn’t wear! So it’s a very diverse line it’s very mix & matchable.
What Kimora wouldn’t let her daughters wear
I would not let my daughter show their–My daughter is almost 9 yrs old and she’s wearing a halter dress tonight that’s a lot for me. I’m actually a very conservative mother.

In some countries, divorce is more common than marriage. That´s the sd thruth. And the state of the union is that every day more and more people are getting divorced.
This is now more than a communication problem. It´s an epidemia. The only solution is professional help and the sincere desire to make things work.
I am so happy for kimora but at the same time she is not setting a good example for her daughters, ming and aoki. They will grow up thinking that it is acceptable to be newly divorced and get pregnant right away and kimora can not try to tell them what is right and wrong. They will not respect her and they will say,How can you tell us how to be acceptable when what you did was unacceptable?” and the fact that they arent married isnt helping either
well i totally disagree!! men impregnant multiple women and produce babies they cannot afford! Kimora can and will always support her kids! A marriage does not guarantee a happy home for children love and devotion do and the lady has it in spades. If a third of the moms out there were as devoted to their kids and family even ex as kimora the world would be a better place! The example she sets is you dont have to depend on a man to be successful! Babyphat was her idea and she made it a success because of her confidence and belief in the power of woman!! How can she pick two better men? Russell wanted to back her cuz he knew she was on fire! He aint dumb..They all 3 are quality people and time will show just how great she has done by her daughters and son! I am so jealous that she had a son with Djimon OMG screw brad pitt! that man is beyond beautiful!!
