I met Duane Cooper on set of the “Notorious” B.I.G movie, and I must say that his energy, sense of humor, and talent as an actor could not go unrecognized. 1.) Tell us a little bit about yourself and what it is you do for a living:                  

 I was born and raised in Jamaica(the island, not queens… although I eventually moved to Jamaica queens.) I lived in montreal for four years, where I learned to speak french( bonjour ladies!), and I’m a full-time struggling actor/part-time athlete.

2.) How did you get started in your career?

I had an unforgettable casting couch experience and haven’t looked back since. Also, when I was in school in Jamaica, I was in a play about the bible. I played Peter. That was my stage debut.

4.) If you were about to go on a blind date, and you had to describe yourself to that person, what would you tell them?

I’m the truth, based on a lie. An enigma engulfed in a sea of puzzling waves. A fire cracker strapped to a lit grenade…mixed with a healthy dose of sensitivity.

5.) Describe your ideal woman:

She has to be an amazing truth thats based on a lie. An enigma engulfed in a sea of puzzling waves, a fire cracker strapp- wait a second… its me? No. My ideal woman can be described as pretty alive.

6.) We’re sure that you get approached a lot by women. What is the craziest thing that a woman has done to get your attention?

First and foremost, yes! You are correct, I do get approached by a lot of women. A lot. Plenty. And the answer to the question is:

Ignore me. That sh*t drives me crazy!

7.) What is the quickest way for a woman to get dismissed by you?

Retarded competitiveness/jealousy

8.) What is something that no one knows about you?

Something that no one knows about me indeed.

9.) What do you do to chill out and relax, and where are your favorite places to go in NYC?

Smoke, drink, dance, engage in coitus, exercise, play sports, read, play the guitar, write, and stuff. I love going to places where at least two of these things can be done.
