US Mag recently crowned Ms. Conrad “Celeb Designer of the Year”,  Now to find out that she is no designer at all.  Lauren was overheard in a club telling an aspriring designer, who was asking for advice… that she doesnt even know how to sketch.  What are your thoughts on this readers?

Apparently, LC is the face behind the label and her Creative Director, Sherry Wood (former designer for fashion label Tart) is the one responsible for the very girlie, chic collection sweeping major department stores and very hot boutiques.

Another insider says that Conrad’s peep’s were quick to back her up and state that she and Sherry Wood work ”very” closely and that the whole process is shared creatively and collectively… 50/50.    hmmmmm……..

In any event, gotta give this MTV Reality Show, breakout star some credit.  She has made it last this long simply on being cute and popular.  She’ll be around a little longer than  “power couple” (just a lil sarcasm) Heidi and Spence.
