In yesteray’s show the models were part of the creative process. The challenge was to design a dress with ecofriendly products…yawn…well not so, producers came up with the idea for the models to go to the Mood fabric store and buy the fabric. Without the designers!!!! Before the designers could tell their models what they had in mind or what to do, they were wisked away to the fabric shop. The models confessed they had no idea of what they were doing.
Complete Chaos for sure!

In the end, Stella’s Über-short asymmetrical number landed in the favorites group and Suede’s Easter-egg-basket dress won, which means Bluefly will make 150 of them to sell at $280 a pop. We admit, sending Wesley home made us a little sad: We knew in our heart of hearts his dress was truly the worst but hoped his puppy-dog eyes, nicely styled shorts, and the fact that he interned at Marc Jacobs would win over the judges. It seems a horrible challenge to lose it all on, given that so much was reliant on the models’ decisions. But then again, if you can’t deal with the personal anomalies of freaking models, you might be in trouble in this business. (thanks nymag)

i’m glad that suede won, i loved his dress!
models do have voices i must attest to that and i make sure that you hear me! i don’t think that you have to be rude just a soft whisper and ‘Voila’ you have gotten your point across. i think that it is important to whisper what you want because at the end of the day we are the ones that have to ’sell it’ and it helps if you love what you are selling!
“Have you had your dose of ‘Joi’ today?”
