HipHopGame.com sent an interview over with upcoming female rapper, Nicky Minaj. She’s from New York, and is signed to Lil Wayne’s label, Young Money, Ent. She’s also been receiving a lot of buzz in the industry. Apparently, she’s the next big thing, and I’m not going to lie, the girl has skills. However, I agree with the homie, Gangstarr Girl. Why is it that she feels the need to flirt with and throw it at every guy who interviews her? I understand that she is on the come up, and needs to receive the appropriate attention, but there is a way for females to be sexy and carry themselves as “vixens” without putting it all out there on the table. No disrespect to Miss Minaj, but this right here is the main reason why female rappers and females in general have a hard time gaining respect in the hip hop.
