Tonight premiere of BET’s original scripted comedy, “Somebodies“, will be airing. According to Boston.com, this show doesn’t tiptoe around the subject, which is what makes the show so honest and so funny. Based on the movie of the same name, which made a splash at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival, it centers on Scottie, a perpetual college student in a Southern university town.
I’m hoping this show is a success and not too corny like many sitcoms today. (like Tyler Perry’s House of Payne) Whoops did I say that out loud?
i didn’t see the premiere of this show, but i would have to agree that tyler perry has got to have the worst show on network tv right now. he should just stick to meaningful movies and stage plays.
