A judge recently tossed a “Ladies Night” lawsuit, that challenged the right of nightclubs to have discounted entry fares for women. In the past, there have been several class action lawsuits against “ladies nights” in NYC, involving this man and as a woman I’m a little shocked. This same man is also recently sued Columbia University over their Womens’ Studies courses. Men are fighting for equality rights for once, go figure…We know times are hard with this recession and all, but where’s the chivalry?
This man, among others, are fighting the fact that we have more time to get to the clubs before admission prices rise, and that our prices are lower in general. I don’t share the same opinion of these gentlemen…Things are not equal (as much as we would love them to be), and they still make more money than we do overall, according to statistics.
What do you think? Do you feel this man has a point, or is this just a call for attention?
