Eminem Makes A Special Announcement

Last night, Eminem had a party for the release of his book, The Way I Am, at the Nort/Recon in SoHo. I really expected a small crowd, laid back, and thought he’d be signing books or something. But to my surprise, the venue was filled with celebs, and the DJ was spinnning the latest tracks. Eminem was walking around with the same expression as he has pictured above, up until 50 entered the building Em finally cracked a smile. I left before Eminem made the special announcement that….he will be dropping an album early 2009 and he will be touring with 50 and Dre sometime next year! WOW! That’s definitely a concert I’ll be attending! Brings back old memories, like the Up in Smoke Tour (minus 50 Cent).Overall, it was a great event to mingle and have a few drinks. Afterwards, we hit up the Henny event at Gotham Hall which was also a great party. (…to be continued!)
