Lil Wayne was the big winner at last night’s BET Hip-Hop Awards. Weezy took six categories – the Alltel Wireless People’s Champ, M-V-P of the Year, Lyricist of the Year,  Track of the Year (”A Milli”), C-D of the Year (Tha Carter Three) and Hottest Ringtone of the Year (”Lollipop”). D-J Khaled was honored for Best Hip-Hop Collabo (”I’m So Hood”) and D-J of the Year. Kanye West also won a pair, for Best Live Performer and Best Hip-Hop Video (for “Good Life” featuring T-Pain). Shawty Lo took the award for Rookie of the Year. Akon got Producer of the Year and Diddy was named Hustler of the Year…I just can’t believe they just made an award show for Lil Wayne. It reminds me of the Britney Spears awads, I mean the VMAs. It okay to rack up at the grammies, because you gain more respect in the industry. But at these awards shows it’s just plain annoying..
