Geez, I guess even the cold weather in NYC doesn’t keep people from throwing events and going out! Anyway, the past couple of weeks I’ve been hearing about this new hot spot, the Greenhouse located on Varick street, and this is where Russel Simmons held his Diamond Empowerment Fund event last night. Russell Simmons himself, LL Cool J, and David Blaine all hosted this extravagent event. Celebs to show up included former NFL stars and ESPN commentators Ray Crockett and Ray Buchanan, Miss Africa USA 2008-09 Nyasha Zimucha, DJ Cassidy, artist O’Neal McKnight, Entourage actor and hip-hop star Bow Wow, hip-hop star Young Jeezy, Recording artist Mario, model and actress Melyssa Ford, Tatiana Ali, & Filippa Hamilton, and recording artist Joe came out of his cave.

Looks like everyone had a good ole’ time.
