Located in the Meatpacking District (or Chelsea, depending on who you ask), Pop Burger is an ideal, trendy spot for those fabulous folks who would like to soak up some liquor after a night of partying. As far as the atmosphere goes, there are two sides to Pop Burger. The front area is perfect for grabbing a quick bite, while there is also a back area that is used for lounging, cocktails and private events.
The menu up front pretty much consists of tiny, but delicious burgers, tasty french fries, and other items that would classify as fast food. While somewhat expensive, (the hip, atmosphere and location have a lot to do with this,) after a night of clubbing, “heaven” can be used to describe how the burgers and fries taste.
The back area serves as a cocktail lounge, and the menu is very different. The food in the back consists of too expensive, cocktail shrimp, spring rolls, and the like. We suggest that if you plan to hang out in the lounge, order the food up front first, then have your cocktails in the back. The lounge food isn’t very tasty, and you’ll also save money this way.
Overall, if you’re looking for a trendy place with good food, cocktails and a high chance of meeting good looking people, Pop Burger is a good way to go.
