We pretty much all know by now that both Jay-Z and Beyonce performed at the inaugural ball last night. However, we have also heard several rumors about how Beyonce through a hissy fit in order to be able to perform for the Obamas’ first dance. We are unsure of that, but we do know that she pulled a diva move after Jay-Z’s rehearsal:
According to the NY Daily News, after Jay’s rehearsal, the cops shut down the street, and the famous couple was told that they would have to walk four blocks to meet their driver. Apparently, Beyonce refused.
“Beyoncé wouldn’t walk in high heels in the cold,” says our spy. “The cops wouldn’t budge, but the Secret Service agreed to let the driver pick Jay and Beyoncé up, bring them to their hotel so they could change, and get them back to the theater.”
The Secret Service had to pick them up to drive them a few blocks? Really? Was it that serious? I know sometimes a girl’s feet can hurt after wearing heels all day, but sometimes you just have to take it in stride. What if something major were to go down during that short trip? SMH

Is this really surprising behavior? The whole world is under this pop tart’s spell so if you feed an addiction and co-sign behavior it makes you a contributor plain and simple, and I blame the swsnbn’ed fans and the people in her camp. Oh jay-z did she put a root on you…sigh

I have to say I’m starting to like Solange better too. She’s also more articulate and knows how to speak when she’s interviewed. Sad but true. Don’t get me wrong I’m still a Beyonce fan but if you keep hearing about diva fits..there has to be some truth to it. She tries to put on a front like she’s sweet and nice when she actually isn’t. At least Solange is more upfront.
i love solange, she’s more “real” than her sister. beyonce is a freakin robot (i am a fan of both of the girls, tho. Solange just keeps it real)
Well Beyonce said last night that Obama makes her want to be more smarter…so maybe she’ll become less diva-ish…lol…none of this surprised me though…when you hear the same thing over and over again I think you can come to the conclusiont that there is a hint of truth to it…

I like Beyonce, but I really wish Jennifer Hudson had performed as well.
Look security for the President is more important than any singer/entertainer. At thje end of the day she can walk like everyone else my man. She has not cured AIDS,she has not ended the genocide in Darfur, She has not provided shelter for millions of homeless people, she has not cured malaria, she has found the cure for cancer, she has not ended the waars in Afganistan and Iraq. She just sings good songs every once in a while. She is good but in the scheme of what is really important in the world, she is not up there. She can walk and pay a masseuse to message her feet and back.

don’t be so quick to judge. going out to a club in heels then walking to the car is one thing, even doing a 3-4 hour performance in heels then walking to a car is yet another thing… BUT WALKING AROUND ALL DAY IN HEELS THEN HAVING TO WALK TO THE CAR….. BOGUS!!!

Beyonce’ is a Diva if she did not want to walk to the car oh well! That is just that none of you know her or Solange so please stop. She was great enough to sing for our President therefore she should not have to walk 3-4 blocks to her car. People really do not understand just how hard a star like her works, Diva or not she put in the time, and effort to get were she is today. Stop hating let the girl do her thing!
