I read a couple weeks ago that Charli Baltimore refuses to watch Notorious because she feels the movie won’t accurately portray Biggie’s life due to the fact that the movie is told through the eyes of Voletta Wallace. A scene Baltimore especially isn’t happy about is the way the movie portrays a minor car accident which in fact was very traumatic:
From what I’m understanding, the one particular scene which I guess bothered me more than anything was that me and B.I.G. were in a really, really, traumatic car accident. I almost died in that car accident and it was downplayed.
According to Miss. Baltimore, because of this almost tragic accident, Big added a double album to Life After Death. Baltimore continues to say:
I went through the windshield. I was in the backseat, that’s true. Cease lost all of his teeth… every last one of his teeth got knocked out. He was the driver. From what I understand it’s portrayed in the movie like it was really lightweight, and it had a lot of bearing on Big’s album. And again, everybody in that car almost lost their life. So I don’t play that, it’s not cool at all.
Big had to have the Jaws of Life remove him, and that was a really pivotal moment in his career because that’s what caused him to do the double album for Life After Death. So, you know, the movie is his mother’s story, which is how I’m getting it, but again she wasn’t there and I had 22 stitches under my hairline that…I was the first person that was taken out of the scene of the accident because any sort of head injuries they take you first.
I found it kind of weird that Charli Baltimore wasn’t asked for her input about Biggie’s life since she was the one with him when he died. I do give her props for not speaking so loud about the situation like Lil Kim.

Charli has really come out of hiding, now this movie as come out. Next thing will hear about is her upcoming album LOL

Hmm, I’d be a tad pissed if I (and everyone else) almost died in an accident, and they made it seem like a fender bender…
The movie was biased and that was obvious…. Ms. Smalls says herself “she wanted to show Big in a different light” whatev, I think it was a corny movie. It was nothing in the movie that had not been in a documentary after his death. Anything that was in there like the lil Kim thing I mean really who didn’t know she was a jump off. I thought I was see something different or new int hemovie and I didn’t… I didn’t know Charli and all of them were in a car accident and that their injuries were major. I also didn’t remember she was in the car when he got shot…
Obviously with any movie about a famous person’s life, all sides can not be depicted properly. How can that be possible in a 2-hour movie? Why don’t Kim and Charli Baltimore write their own screenplays to tell their side of the saga?

Faith wrote her own book and helped out with the movie. Kim and Charli, where are your books? They both should stop complaining and take some initiative
I disagree with Charli. She needs to see the movie before she gives soundbites about scenes. They had BIG on bedrest for several scenes after the accident talking about how he almost died. She’s not delusional like Kim but what’s up with Charli and Mo Bee thinking that just because they were important to BIG that they’d be important to the film. It was only two hours!!
I agree with her…. i feel a lot of the movie was down played. To me it wasn’t eventful enough. I would of loved to get more background of his struggle from the movie. It seemed like everything was handed to him and it was just his place to decide if he wanted it or not.
but i didn’t know she was that close with big either. Again something i would of liked to get out of the movie

Charlie needs to shut the hell up, i dont like the way she just came outta no where talkin about Kim and how she wasnt even BigGs girl, and how he did more for her than KIM!!! From the looks of it, nether was your ass, He was always seen with her, but where the hell were you. In my oppinion Charlie needs to get a damn life, and maybe another album bofore she talks diss about somebody.
There may be more to this story.
A. She may have been coerced into making a comment about something she otherwise may not have cared to make by the media, don’t act like it doesn’t happen.
B. Maybe she has an album coming out and she’s trash talking up on some publicity.
C. Damn, she might just be telling the truth.
