The lovely and talented Keri Hilson had her album release party last night at Pink Elephant, a swanky club in the Chelsea area. We were invited to this event, but once we got there, it was wayyyyy too hectic outside, the door was being ridiculous and the NYPD was completely swarming the place. Not having any patience and with several other event options in the area, we left shortly after we arrived and didn’t get to participate in the festivities. However, it looked like fun was had by all, and there were a lot of beautiful people in the building. Check out some of the notable attendees after the jump.

I don’t see what’s the big deal about “getting into the party” anymore in 2009. You should worry about getting into the GYM. Anyway, though I did manage to get in the party and checc it, all those that were “struggling” to get in the party was playing in their blackberry once they got inside. So you struggled to get into the party just to talk to people who’s not at the party. Second, if the club is a ZOO then nine times out of ten the door is run by Pelicans and they are guarded by Gorillas (the bouncers) Crazy right? Sad yet true. It was an open bar cause I would go in on why we struggle to get into a club so we can PAY them to use the bathroom cause the liquor goes right thru you. Plus if your gonna be “Straight Out of NYC” then don’t talk to the camera like their is sugar in your tank. You make New York Look bad. “We’re Not gonna by your album” But tell me what album or WHO’s ALBUM ARE YOU GONNA BUY, don’t you get it, the new move is to NOT buy an album so we can watch those who we supported fall on their face as a pleasure to our entertainment. Despite Keri having solid album, she is going to be the laughingstock of the week next week if her album doesn’t do Miley Cyrus numbers in its first week. Why? because she didn’t get beat up by a boyfriend like Rihanna (all do respect), she did not have an unfortunate family crisis like Jennifer Hudson (all do respect), and she doesn’t have a highly publicized relationship like Beyonce( all do respect). So yeah thats the run down right there, Fake parties put on by fake people and it is no question that You don’t have to RSVP for an event if you are an artist, star or a professional athlete. If Alex Rodriquez came thru to Pink Elephant you think he has to worry if he’s not on the guest list? These Album release parties mean NOTHING and unless better themes are created for these types of events, then Noone is gonna come to your door to make your party the hectic drama THAT THE CLUB SET IT UP TO BE!!!!!! READ MY WORDS: THE CLUB SET IT UP FOR IT TO BE “HECTIC @ the DOOR”, they need you to try to get in so they can say you can’t get in in effort to gain the publicity,…..signed by someone on the inside of the Industry thats sicc of the bullshit
