Last night ATF hit up Ed Hardy for the Day 26 ‘Forever In A Day‘ Album Release Party. Spotted in the building were Dawn Richard, Donnie Klang,Terrence J, Jaslene Gonzalez, Gorilla Zoe, Def Poet Shanelle Gabriel, Sophia Fresh, Black Buddahfly, Briana from Harlem Heights and many others.

For a play by play of what our experience was like…

Security was yoking up people all night for leaning on the precious Ed Hardy merchandise. The house was packed to the point where I was worrying about capacity limits and all that. “Imma Put It On Her“ played when the boys arrived. They glided through the crowd looking all adorable and emotionally stable. Folks sipped on Nuvo-based drinks while waiting for our favorite men to come through and there were beautiful models dressed as mermaids posted up randomly around the store. (We even saw some guy seriously hitting on one of them. Damn shame.)

Shouts out to Ola for a smooth, non-chaotic entry to the event!

We left the humid main event and headed over to the afterparty held at a “secret location” a block away. Real intimate and maze-like. The DJ threw on some Drake and every female in the place screamed and sighed all at the same time. Priceless. He doesn’t even have to be in the room for chicks to go crazy.

Minus the sweltering temperatures from the first event, it was an enjoyable night. Go cop that album! :]

Sidebar: It amazes me how different people look when you take away their weave. I can’t say any names because we were later introduced to her and she seemed pretty nice.
