At AllThatsfab.com we love fashion, and we are also huge supporters of up & comers. There is this line that has been getting a lot of buzz lately. The line is called DURANT, plain name but simple is always best. DURANT has been worn by a few notable celebs and a couple industry insiders. A couple of our Fab Men have been spotted around town rocking these shirts. ATF recently sat down and chatted with Robert Durant, the head designer and creative director of the DURANT line. ATF: What made you want to get into fashion?

DURANT: What else is there to do! Fashion is my love! Fashion gives me the opportunity to be creative & outspoken without even using words!

ATF: How long have u been in the game?

DURANT: I have been in the apparel industry now going on 11 years. I got my first job working with Calvin Klein Corporate back in 1998 working  in production.

ATF: What are some of your inspirations?

DURANT: My inspirations can from many of places. From watching a music video, a piece of art in a museum or just walking along the streets of soho.

ATF: What is the future of your brand?

DURANT: The future of the brand is making DURANT a household name. Eventually, I would love to move into other categories. Such as jeans or underwear but it is important for a brand to focus on one category at a time and then allow the growth to be natural and not forced.

ATF: Who are some of the celebs that have wore your shirts?

DURANT: My shirts have been used in a national Mountain Dew commericial and several issues of YRB Magazine. Shirts have been worn on MTV’s show MTB 4(worn by Rob & Willie of Day 26) and also Diddy.

ATF: If you had to choose a model for your campaign, who would it be?

DURANT: I love to work with fresh faces all the time so to choose one would be very hard. For there are so many great models out there.

ATF: What is your favorite line, besides your own?

DURANT: I happen to love TOM FORD & RALPH LAUREN

ATF: How can our readers purchase your shirts?

ATF: Do you have any female stuff in the works?

DURANT: Of course female shirts are in the works and will be in stores real soon…Be on the look out!
