Ashanti was spotted yesterday at the New York City Center preparing for her role as Dorothy in “The Wiz”. All we know is, she better kill it, because people are already waiting for her to mess up that part. Its going to take a lot for her to pull it off.
Says our buddy Rae over at Stuff Fly People Like: “YO! What Night are we gonna see “The Wiz”?? So I know when to buy my tomatoes….”

Russell Simmons was also appointed as an ambassador for the memorial Honoring The Victims of Slavery And The Transatlantic Slave Trade last night. We’re so proud of him, that we aren’t even going to mention how his girlfriend straight up acted a fool by writing THIS BLOG on his site, Global Grind, or how he is supposed to be suing Def Jam. We’ll keep it positive for you Uncle Rush!
