So it looks like everyone can just get a reality show. Starting June 30th, BET will be airing a reality show starring Tiny (T.I’s wifey) and her BFF Toya (Lil’ Wayne’s Baby Mama). I will admit at first I was not interested in the show but after watching a few episodes I am really glad that the both of you and your family agreed to share your very personal issues with the world. Different issues/topics that yall address on the show are inspiring, teaching, uplifting, and motivating other people. For example, Tiny, your business procrastination issue has inspired me to stop procrastinating! Its because of your motivation, I am motivated. And Toya, your slow and thoughtful and gentle approach to dealing with your mother’s addiction will teach others in similar situations to slow down and realize that addiction eradication does not happen over night. You keep going at your pace, because you are actually rebuilding trust, communication and soon I know and I am praying God will send his angels to her and deliver her from all those demons. Just remember everytime you see her set up another day and time when you will be back to see her. Eventually her mind will stay focused on you and when you are coming to see her that she will leave with you..Just pray about..God listens and he delivers. And Tiny you should focus on one task at a time until one of them comes to fruition, otherwise you are going to burn yourself out! Open the nail salon and then focus on the musical tasks. The worst thing you can do is commit yourself all over the place and then when your soon to be hubby returns, you’re tired and worn out and your not going to be able to hear his desires when returns. Tiny and Toya are both two very beautiful, talented, and driven young ladies. Despite how they may have gotten to where they are. In viewing the show, its shows that odds have been against them from the start; but they chose to take a different route. The show really gives them a since of independence, who wants to be know as someone’s “baby mama” the term is derogatory and disrespectful. The people here making the negative comments should do a self evaluation before trying to judge someone else. The truth of the matter is either you agree or disagree with the show. Being that I was raised by both my parents and have a B.S. and masters degree and my life wasn’t hard growing up; it was just simple. This is real life for so many ladies black, white, hispanic, asian, etc…Maybe the lesson learned is ladies watch who you choose to love and father your child(ren). Sometimes that man with all the money in the world can hurt you worse than the man who just work a 9 to 5. I like this show because I can see a whole new world thru the eyes of some of my students I teach everyday. It’s so easy to be judgemental and not think about the children involved; keep an open mind and keep it real.
