So it looks like everyone can just get a reality show. Starting June 30th, BET will be airing a reality show starring Tiny (T.I’s wifey) and her BFF Toya (Lil’ Wayne’s Baby Mama). This show has hot ghetto mess written all over it, we will so be tuning in to watch the train wreck. The show will follow the day & life of these two glorified baby mothers. i wont lie, i probably WILL be watching at least the first show….and i wish them the best….to call them “glorified baby mothers” is a little harsh but it is funny….its also VERY unfortunate because that ultimately is the guy’s fault that that is their title, not the female’s. It sad to see so many black relationships end up with the woman being discarded or never married to the man she had kids and a life with. Only black people do that 8 year engagement thing…and that’s nothing to be proud of. Not to mention, Lil Wayne talked about Toya like a dog on the Carter 2, so good for her that she is getting some self esteem back. Best of luck ladies!!!

TI lost his best friend by a fatal gun shooting intended for TI, but because of his prior offense he couldnt obtain a weapon. I don’t often look at reality shows but this one caught my attention. Here you see two urban black women attempting to live as authentic as being shown and It is not often that we can experience or view financially stabled black women in their conditions being real with society… In the first episode Tiny brought up a question regarding a financially stabled happy women but her man didn’t want for her to work, perhaps in the industry that she previously work… Well, this is a very serious question and I state to Tiny that she should introduce to her man, her desires, little by little. What I’m saying is perhaps starting with writing songs for other artists eventually writing songs for you. He has to learn and know that his relationship with you will still be strong even if you are involved with a very difficult industry. Please consider your man first because if you put yourself first and not consider the relationship that you will be first and alone. You are in a partnership.

I agree with “Tomieka”, “Truth” and “Kicksomeknowledge”-To be honest, I have yet to see a positive reality show to date. Whether it be The “Housewives of NJ, Atlanta, to celebrities” reality show. The Reality is these shows serve no positive purpose, all drama. How are you going to hate on someone’s open public unhappiness and confusion? Ok, we all have problems, struggles and challenges it’s how you deal with them with resolution or reasonable solutions. That’s how you help the masses. But, I’m really concern about our people (African-Americans) reality show and it does make us look foolish to exchange our business for cash. Now, if someone is invading their privacy that’s different, this is volunteer to have your business out there. As far as, Tina she looks sad to me, like an empty void is there that money can’t fill. Maybe the point her mother made about Music is her 1st love-maybe it. I don’t know. But it’s taking a toll on her looks. Another way to generate large revenue may be needed.
I commend Magic Johnson, J.LeBron(NBA), Bill Cosby, Tyra Banks, black CEO’s, lawyers, doctors, black financial advisors, Tracey Reese(fashion designer) and Obama etc… who are very educated, making paper and don’t have a reality show. Honestly, I like the show. Anyway, what reality show do any of you know of that does have a storyline? The storyline is their day to day life, and if you find it interesting, which I do, watch it, if you don’t, then don’t watch it. I don’t know what happened to Tiny’s mouth, but she used to be very beautiful, and I still think she is a beautiful person, her spirit, spunk, and personality. Fyi, Toya is not just a Baby Mama, She was with lil Wayne since she was a little girl, and she was married to him. As for their BFF’s unless you know them personally, who are you to question whether or not Tiny and Toya are BFFs? God Bless them and I wish them well on this endeavor and all they do.
