So it looks like everyone can just get a reality show. Starting June 30th, BET will be airing a reality show starring Tiny (T.I’s wifey) and her BFF Toya (Lil’ Wayne’s Baby Mama). This show has hot ghetto mess written all over it, we will so be tuning in to watch the train wreck. The show will follow the day & life of these two glorified baby mothers. Let me first start by saying that BET has taken a turn for the worst. The BET music awards were a complete embarrassment and BET needs to be called “GAT” GHETTO ASS TELEVISION!!! Every show is so stereotypical that I can’t even begin to articulate how far as a people we’ve come to be knocked 20 steps back with plain ignorance. On to the Tiny and Toya show…WOW!!! Is all I can say!!! Can we please get a translator because I can barely understand what is being said on the show? I can’t believe these are the type of shows that we as black people endorse. I’m all for artistic expression but please give us quality shows with meaning.

Personally I thought the show was going to be ghetto and dumb. I thought it was going to be about two rappers baby mama’s trying to show how they live their life in the fast lane “rich and fabulous”, but it’s the total opposite! I really like the message behind the show and I think every woman (especially African American) can relate to one of these woman on one level or another. Of course some people are going to hate and say mean things about these ladies, but the crazy thing is they’re the same ones getting them the high ratings. So hate on haters cause you’re the main ones putting the show at #1 on BET, because if you hate it so much why are you tunning in every week?! See, that’s why black people can’t come up today.
