We all thought the Jay-Z + T-Pain duo on stage for Summer Jam was something planned. Come to find out, Jay-Z confesses that T-Pain appearing on stage during the performance of “DOA” was as much a surprise to him as it was for the audience. Jay says:
“I don’t know where T-Pain came from”…”I look and I see somebody to my right adn I swear I thought it was a fan coming to hug me“…” It was a little awkward, but it was cool.”
