Rihanna didn’t get a chance to make it to the BET Awards (For what reason, we don’t know), but this may just be her way of paying her tribute to Michael Jackson.
She stepped out on the town last night, and it looks like she is starting to call NYC home while working on her latest studio album. She was also recently spotted hanging out with fellow fashion maven Santigold. We would love to see a collabo from these two, and that would be a great direction for her.
The two young stars got their grub on @ Philippe Chow in the Upper East Side, and they looked very cute and casual, which is excellent for a girlfriend lunch date. Check out pics of the two after the jump.
