Over the weekend, ATF attended the birthday celebration for Vanessa Simmons who turned 26 on August 5th. Vanessa looked radiant as always in her Grey jumper suit. We love how she arrived super late for her birthday, but we expected a lot more from her. Don’t come fashionably late and look like your going on a date. It’s cool though, we still love her. Angela Simmons dress was a lot more fashion forward than her sister’s, didn’t she get the memo? (never look better than the birthday girl). Overall, both girls are doing their thing in the fashion world, Pastry is actually holding it down in the hood. More photos after the jump..
The event was held at a small lounge here in NYC, called Su Casa located in the Downtown Manhattan. The party was packed with people coming out to support Vanessa and the Simmons family, but most people were in there looking for some camera time. Overall the event was pretty cool, we expected a better turn out.

I actually like Vanessa’s look better than Angela’s here. Her look is casual, but more original and her hair looks really pretty
Come on Vanessa! The BD girl is supposed to be the knockout of the party! How does Angela get all the props for looking so good! How embarassing!
I agree with Aura, I like Vanessa’s outfit better. Although something about the belt and necklace isn’t working for me. Angela looks great and all, but nothing about that outfit seems to stand out.

As a fan of the popular show Runs House I have to say that these two women have grown and are growing into beautiful and talented people. I love the fact that they appear to put family first and allow everything else to fall properly in place.
I feel that there is a strong statement being made in each look. I feel that Vanessa’s look was one that was a bit more relaxed yet with the addition of her accessories it gave it just that little bit of edge needed to say Im maturing but I still have a fun side to me.
On the other hand Angela’s dress appears to be amazing and with just the right fit. She is now a business woman and I cant complain about what she chose to wear to her sisters party.
Congrats to the parents and happy birthday to Vanessa for 26 years of life being celebrated on this week.
