Earlier this week 50 Cent’s publicist confirmed 50 was going to perform a surprise concert despite certain concerns. But as of today; 50 Cent canceled his surprise concert in NYC, which was set to take place August 30th at Family Day in his hometown Jamaica, Queens. Mayor Bloomberg claims the concert will bring violence and some one will try to shoot the rapper. Here is what Mayor Blomberg had to say about this event:
“Our understanding after talking with 50 Cent is he has no plans to perform whatsoever. He might go, but he’s not going to perform.”
Hmmmm, seems as if 50 Cent was forced not to perform then an agreement between the two parties…just look s a little suspect.
What a pity. But it is good they tried to avoid violence.
