We were pretty excited to attend the Trey Songz Album Release Party held at Touch—until we heard them announce the event on Hot 97.1, then we knew groupies from all 5 boroughs were going to be in attendance.
We got there pretty early, around 11pm, and there was already a long line forming. When I tell you there were No M’aams outside–that’s an understatement. Why are you standing outside of the club stumbling all over the place talkin’ bout, “I WANT IN…IS TREY IN YET? IS HE IN? I WANT IN”. We were tempted to record this girl, but she was able to stumble away before we could get our camera in focus.
After a while, we were able to find our way into Touch and it was packed in there. The ladies were going absolutely crazy. Trey had just finished performing at Highline Ballroom before he headed to Touch, but he was still upbeat and energetic.

You can tell Mr Songz has been hitting up the gym recently to promote his new album “Ready“, which is predicted to sell 100k-115k its first week. From reviews his album is definitely a baby making one. Keep up the good work Trey and we love seeing you in our city!
