The stars of Sex and the City have been spotted out and about in the city a lot recently shooting for the sequel to the hit movie, and they have been stirring up loads of trouble along the way. The fans in New York can barely contain themselves, and they have been practically rioting to get a chance to get close to the stars.

New Yorkers may not be getting enough of the franchise, but world renowned shoe designer, Manolo Blahnick, who’s footwear is often featured on the show, is plain old SICK of hearing about Sex and the City.

“If people talk to me about Sex And The City, I get sick,” he revealed in an interview with The Sunday Telegraph.

“The taxi drivers recognize me now. It becomes too much and I don’t feel comfortable. I have never wanted to be a celebrity designer.”

Wow. At least for once a designer isn’t lashing out against a rapper of sorts for giving his brand free publicity. Honestly, he needs to be blaming Jay-Z and Beyonce as well, as much as they drop the name “Manolo“. We all know that Bey is to blame for those Steve Madden knockoffs.
