We were very unimpressed with this years line-up for VH1’s Divas. Do they really consider Miley Cyrus a Diva? However, we were pleased to see powerhouses Leona Lewis, Jennifer Hudson, and Adele perform. Those women are true vocalist.
This years ceremony was held at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. The show was hosted by Paula Abdul, who actually did a pretty good job. Our girl Nene Leakes of Real Housewives of Atlanta also presented. Overall, this years show left us wanting more. There should have referred to our Divas picks.

Still salty about Fantasia not being a part of it. Maybe I would have watched it if she would have been on there

This year’s lineup was random and although I’m a fan of some of the ladies, none of them have reached diva status yet, imo.
When I heard the line up I was hesitant to watch. I was so disappointed. I don’t believe those women are divas. I turned to it..saw Jennifer Hudson’s performance (which was pretty good) then I changed the channel. I was no longer interested. Where was Mariah, Aretha, Gladys Knight, Mary J. Blige, Beyonce, Patti Labelle, Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys…the list goes on..hell even Pink would’ve been good. WTF who decided those were the chicks that should be on there.
They should be ashamed they even considered Miley Cyrus.
leona, kelly, jordin and jennifer were amazing what is everyone talking about they may not be divas in that kind of way like mariah and beyonce but they are true divas when they sing, they have amazing voices! and hey i even thought miley was good
