This past weekend, music executive, Lyor Cohen, celebrated his 50th birthday party in the city, and many of the music and entertainment industry’s elite were in attendance. Russell Simmons took us inside the event through his twitter page, and decided to share some exclusive pictures with us. Last night Russell told me his lifelong partner Lyor Cohen celebrated his 50 birthday. Dj Cassidy was on the turntables. Trey Songz performed while Jay-Z, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Kanye West, Jon Bon Jovi, Kevin Liles, Mayor Cory Booker and Veronica Webb along with many business leaders, artists and politicians attended and everyone had great time. It’s such a cool thing to see friends hang out and enjoy them self and last night we got the chance to see two life long friends and business partners celebrate life. Russell Simmons tweeted some images and words from Lyor’s birthday party thrown by Lyor’s beautiful girlfriend Tory Burch.
