Haitian Sensation Wyclef Jean has signed an agreement with HarperCollins Publishers to write a memoir on his life, from growing up in Haiti to his successful musical career. He will be collaborating with Rolling Stone writer Anthony Bozza on this book. No release date has been set as of yet.
Wyclef Jean has also collaborated with Timberland on a 16-boot footwear collection and with every purchase of these boots, $2 will benefit the Yele Haiti Foundation, a grassroots movement he founded to support reforestation in his homeland, Haiti. The Wyclef Jean x Timberland Earthkeepers Collection will be available late November 2009. He will also be having a meet and greet next month to promote his new line:
