Can’t even lie–Chris Brown is back and this single is pretty hot. We aren’t HUGE fans of CB, but the title Shine for me/Diamond in the Ruff intrigued us into listening to the single.

Something about the beat and Brown’s voice takes us back to the early 90’s (kind of sounds like something the Young Usher woulda cooked up).

It’s a cool record but it sounds old. Anyway, in CB situation I would prefer music that lets us into the artist life. For example, when an artist is going through some hard times in the public eye like T.I. His last album was very personal and I believe those albums are more meaningful to the fans.

- Chris Brown will be doing his first radio interview on the Angie Martinez show 2day. Hopefully, it’s a good interview.
