I like Amerie. She has her own sound. Some vocalist JUST sound good. That’s all. But she has a vibe. Her voice is her voice, and it keeps getting better. I like the new CD. There are 14 cuts there. I like 10 of them. That’s very good for a pop/Rock/R & B CD. It’s a very solid release. Go get it…

Nice interview. But the producer A worked with is WarrYn Campbell not Warren( he is married to Erica of the gospel group Mary mary. Erica is the “black mary” LOL).

Also DefJam aint promoting this cd at all. Ri’s cd dont come out for another 2 weeks and every1 knows. Good luck Amerie. Columbia ignored u for beyonce and now DJ is ignoring u for rihanna & MC. I do see some banner ads & I know you’re on twitter. Where are the radio interviews & bus ads & magazine ads ? Billboards?

Nice interview Ian! But to be honest.. I dont think she seems driven about her carreer.. I dont see push from herself.. she just so depenable on people.. i dunno.. I dont see her on blogsites, tv shows, radio nor mini concerts..

But her going to def jam should be very interesting.. I really wish the best for her..
