Alicia Keys embarks on a new business venture with her new company AK Worldwide and The Barber’s Daughters jewelry line. She was inspired to do the jewelry line last year when she had a tour in Toronto. She had this to say about it:
“They are these unique one of a kind pieces that have the most beautiful words on them, and for me – as a song writer – words mean everything to me, People always tell me my music has gotten them through different periods in their lives and I feel this is an extension of that.”
Not only do we have her jewelry line to look foward to, but her new album “The Element of Freedom“ is set to drop December 15. She will also be at the Nokia Theater in NYC today, December 1st for a concert to benefit her own charity Keep A Child Alive.
