Now That The Royal Wedding is Over, Harry and Meghan Are Ready to Start a Family

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's fairytale wedding was one of the hottest topics in the past few months. Fans wanted to know every detail about the wedding plans, from the flavor of the cake to the dress Meghan would wear down the aisle.

On May 19, tens of millions of people had their eyes on the wedding. In America alone, some 29 million households tuned in to watch the stunning couple tie the knot.

After the wedding, talk turned to the after-party details, the gifts, the honeymoon and the couple's first appearance as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Prince Charles' birthday celebration. News of the

Now, there seems to be one detail left to discuss: family. Will Harry and Meghan be having children anytime soon? According to some reports, maybe sooner than you think.

An anonymous insider who is close to Markle reportedly told Us Weekly that the couple are hoping to have children very soon. “Having children is definitely a priority... She and Harry want to start a family right away — and she’ll start trying as soon as she can.”

The 36-year-old duchess and her 33-year-old duke reportedly are looking forward to a family of their own, says a royal insider to Us. “They both can’t wait to start a family... Harry and Meghan won’t rush into anything. They have a lot on their plate right now. But they both think that when the moment feels right, that will be the time to go for it. They’ll make fantastic parents.”

It's all about the timing, it seems. A lot of people had their eye on Harry and Meghan when they announced their engagement, and that their wedding would be scheduled so soon after. A six-month engagement is virtually the speed of light when it comes to royal weddings. Some speculated that it was a shotgun wedding, but that rumor has clearly been proven false. There's been no sign of a baby bump, which would be easy to spot with Meghan's slim physique.

Now that the big wedding is behind them and they're getting a little time to breathe, it wouldn't be surprising if the couple decided they were ready for children. They've got a lot of love to give, plus a cozy little cottage in London. Nottingham Cottage is perfect for a small family, though since it only has two bedrooms, they probably won’t remain there for long.

The couple do have other options. Queen bestowed a stunning wedding present, the York Cottage on the grounds of Sandringham Estate, to the newlyweds. The historic nineteenth century royal dwelling might be called a ‘cottage’, but don’t let the name fool you. The size of it is more along the lines of a mansion. Meghan and Harry would probably like raising their kids out in the countryside, away from prying eyes.

They also have their Cotswolds estate, a $5.4 million dollar estate that they are renting. The couple are locked in for a two year lease, and the home lies 90 minutes outside of London. They got it for a weekend getaway.

“Renting in the Cotswolds was something they’d discussed before the engagement,” says the insider. “They loved the idea of having a bolt-hole to escape to when London gets too much.”
