Pink Dubs Critic 'Little Purple Troll' After He Mocks the 38-Year-Old Singer's Appearance

An internet troll messed with the wrong celebrity on Twitter. The person took to social media and told the Grammy-winning artist, Pink, that she looks 'so old that should be named Purple instead'.

Pink wasted no time in annihilating the commenter.

“You must be from L.A.,” wrote the 'Don’t Let Me Get Me' singer, who is unapologetic about aging. “Well, there are a few people left in the world that choose to age naturally. And I’ve earned every f—— minute of my 38 years. How you lookin’ though? ‘Cause I never heard of ya ’til you put my name in your mouth. I shall call you little purple troll.”

Pink continued, telling her fans, "I am of the mindset that it's a blessing to grow old. That if your face has lines around your eyes and mouth it means you've laughed a lot. I pray I look older in 10 years, cause that will mean I'm alive."

The mic dropped comments whipped the singer's fans into cheering her on.

"I wish more people held your opinion and valued what aging brings," wrote one person.

"Indeed it is a blessing to grow old. Some people have no idea. This is one of the examples why I really love," wrote another.

"Exactly this. Let's be proud of the lives we live. There's no embarrassment in growing older, wiser, and better," said another.

"Forget the haters," another told her. "ur beauty is flawless and u live and laugh with ur kids and hubby, that reflects on ur beautiful face. We all age weather we do it gracefully or not is our own choice.”

Even fellow celebrity Reese Witherspoon jumped in to back Pink up in the discussion.

"Agree @pink 100! We are supposed to grow old and [love] our faces and our bodies that carry us through this life. Gotta have Gratitude for every minute on this Earth," she wrote.

We do live in an odd age. In years past, photographing celebrities became a major sport, and the photos would be plastered all over magazines, and later the internet. If women celebrities showed even a hint of natural aging, they would be slammed for it as if they've committed a crime.

However, if they began having plastic surgery, and it changed their looks too much, they'd be slammed for that, too. Many women in Hollywood past the age of 29 were in a 'damned if I do, damned if I don't' position.

Thankfully, there are a growing number of women in the spotlight who have opted for minimal to no cosmetic procedures in attempts to stay looking unnaturally youthful. Not surprisingly, they're some of Hollywood’s biggest natural beauties.

Heidi Klum, Meryl Streep, Julianne Moore, Julia Roberts, Salma Hayak, Kate Winslet, Cate Blanchett and Christy Turlington are among those women who just seem to get better with age because they’re swimming with, rather than against, the flow of time.

More and more female celebrities are calling out the critics, the hypocrisy and the double-standards. Pink is one of those beautiful, powerful women leading the charge.

"Can’t wait to see you when you’re 80. And if you’re still doing aerial stunts, all the better." tweeted one person.

Pink responded, "You know I will! I’ll call it “the wrinkles and rolls tour."
