Rosie O'Donnell Announces Her Wish For 'Traitor Trump'

By this point in time, it’s pretty common knowledge that Rosie O’Donnell can’t stand President Donald Trump - and that the feeling is mutual. The pair has engaged in a rather legendary war of words through the years, and it hasn’t subsided since Trump entered office.

However, that comes with the caveat that the war is somewhat one-sided these days. O’Donnell seems to be downright obsessed with the Trump presidency, as she’s constantly dropping commentary on social media.

As Yahoo shares, O’Donnell was back at it again on Friday in the wake of the guilty plea from Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn, who admitted to lying to the FBI. There have been a ton of reports making the rounds that Flynn has promised full cooperation with Special Counsel Robert Mueller in regards to the never-ending Russian collusion investigation, and some observers have taken that as a sign that the end is nigh for the Trump presidency.

We can only assume that’s how O’Donnell feels, as she quickly shared some inflammatory posts.

“Rest of your life in jail- u sick MF,” she wrote.

That post was complemented by a screenshot of Trump’s twitter feed, which O’Donnell scribbled the phrase “Traitor u r done” over it.

It remains unclear exactly what O’Donnell is gaining from her running commentary on things. She’s already made it crystal clear that she’s no fan of POTUS, and she has every right to feel that way.

He publicly embarrassed her during a nationally televised debate during the presidential campaign, and we would imagine that wasn’t the most pleasant experience for her. That said, she’s been none too shy about taking shots at Trump either - and we’re not just talking about the present day.

Back in 2006, the former talk show host was on ABC’s ‘The View’ when she went on a rant about the fact that Trump hadn’t fired Miss USA Tara Conner, who was accused of all sorts of unseemly behavior. At the time, Trump was the owner of the Miss Universe Organization, and O’Donnell felt he needed to take a stand.

However, she didn’t just say that, as she laid into Trump by calling him “not a self-made man,” but rather a “snake-oil salesman on Little House on the Prairie.” She would go on to take a ton of shots at Trump for his marital history for emphasis. People magazine would reach Trump for comments at the time, and he referred to O’Donnell as a “real loser” and a “woman out of control.”

The feud has been ebbing and flowing ever since, and it’s pretty safe to say that the pair won’t be exchanging Christmas cards this year. Neither party comes out smelling like roses here, and it’s about time to put this spat to bed for good.

For Trump’s part, he’s got far more important things to worry about these days. As for O’Donnell, she’s coming across as unhinged by posting such inflammatory things about the President of the United States. Perhaps she needs a self-imposed social media timeout before she goes even further down the rabbit hole.
