For some time now, actor Tom Arnold has been claiming to be in possession of a tape that features some incredibly inflammatory commentary from President Donald Trump. He held off on releasing them throughout the presidential campaign, but he has revealed some new details on the pressure he was receiving to make them public.
As the Independent Journal Review reports, Arnold claims that Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton contacted him directly just days before the election.
"She called me two days before the election and said ‘please release that.’ The weight of the free world is on your shoulders,” he said.
The tape is said to be from Trump’s time on ‘Celebrity Apprentice,’ and it’s alleged to contain footage of Trump making some derogatory comments towards women and African Americans. If they were released during the campaign, there’s a pretty good chance that Trump’s campaign would have fizzled out. Fast forward to today, and their release would heighten the outrage directed towards the commander-in-chief.
Arnold has yet to provide concrete evidence that the tape exists, but he’s been doubling down on his claims of late. He recently served a stint on the reality show ‘I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here,’ and he’s been making the rounds on the talk show circuit. His time on the show came to an unceremonious end when he was the first celeb voted off, but he hasn’t been shying away from talk of the Trump tape. In fact, Arnold is now claiming there’s even more damning evidence out there.
“There is other stuff that I promise to keep you appraised of and I doubled all my stuff before I came here. I doubled all my stuff. Everything's in my possession. The dossier, the spy dossier which I had six months ago about his activities in Moscow,” he continued.
We’ll have to wait and see how this all plays out, but Arnold is laying a lot on the line with his salacious claims.
