Woman Eats Only KFC for 3 Years Due TO Fear Of Other Foods

Imagine being so terrified to eat certain foods that you never enjoyed the juicy freshness of a piece of fruit. That was the reality for Georgie Scotney who suffered from Selective Eating Disorder and only ate KFC over the last three years, Metro reports.

KFC was the only type of food the 21-year-old felt safe eating.

“Growing up I’d always been really stubborn with what I’d eat, it started off as just southern fried chicken and chips but it then got to the point where it’d only be chicken from KFC – I’d go there everyday without fail,” Scotney told the press.

However, Scotney’s days of loading her KFC up with extra salt and having a deathly fear of things like sauce are over. After making plans for a long-term road trip, Scotney knew she had to do something about her condition.

Her urge to travel kickstarted her desire to change her eating habits, she says "When we decided that we'd go traveling I knew that something needed to be done, we're going for four months and I knew I wouldn't be able to eat any of the food - I would have starved."

So, she had a one-hour hypnotherapy session and recently tried fruit for the first time ever.

“I warned everyone that I was so headstrong and thought that I’d never be able to change,” she said, according to Metro.

But after her session, she said everything changed instantly and that she started to try and enjoy new foods. Scotney said she couldn’t believe what she had been missing out on all those years.

She states "After the session everything changed for me instantly, I tried new foods that I wouldn't have dreamed of even going near before - and I actually really enjoyed them."

“I’d always struggled with my weight, even though I’d go to the gym every day, because of my poor diet so I’m hoping now that I’ll be a lot healthier and happier,” Scotney said.
