Melania Trump May Not Be Sleeping With The President

The first lady might not actually be living in the White House with her husband, according to Donny Deutsch.

The Inquisitr reported that the SiriusXM talk-show host said Tuesday on The Wendy Williams Show that he had heard rumors of Melania Trump not sharing a bedroom with the president. When Williams asked about the first couple’s marriage, Deutsch replied: “I think they have a business relationship."

He explained, "From what I hear, she’s not in the White House very much. I don’t know if she’s even sleeping there.”

Unlike past first ladies, Melania did not immediately move into the White House when her husband took office. She remained at Trump Tower in New York City, with son Barron, until the boy completed the school year.

Barron is now enrolled at a private school in the Washington, D.C., area.

Author Michael Wolff, in his newly published book “Fire & Fury: Inside the White House,” agreed with Deutsch’s assessment. He wrote that while doing research and interviews for the best-seller, he rarely saw Melania in the mansion.

He described the first couple’s union as an odd one, and revealed that the first lady was so despondent upon realizing her husband had won the election that she cried.

The Daily Mail reported that even after she had moved to the White House, Melania kept showing up at Trump Tower. Only a month after supposedly changing her residence, she took a three-day trip to the Big Apple.

According to People magazine, Wolff wrote that even before Trump became president he frequently went days without seeing his wife.

“He and Melania spent relatively little time together,” the book stated. “Often, she did not know where he was, or take much notice of that fact.”

The author alleged that Melania had little interest in her husband’s real-estate business. He said the state of the marriage was “perplexing” for members of the Trump campaign during the 2016 presidential race.

Trump previously was wed to Ivana Trump and Marla Maples, with both unions ending in highly publicized divorces. He reportedly has told friends that the secret to maintaining a marriage is to “do your own thing.”

Wolff revealed that the president likes to refer to Melania as a “trophy wife.” He wrote that Trump “admired her looks — often, awkwardly for her, in the presence of others.”

According to the author, “everybody other than Melania” thought her husband released the nude modeling photos of her that The New York Post published.

Trump was so proud of his wife’s appearance that, during the campaign, he tweeted a photo of her alongside an image of Heidi Cruz, the wife of Republican candidate Ted Cruz. In the caption, Trump asked readers which woman they would prefer as their first lady.

Many observers have hinted that the couple do not get along. Millions of people saw news footage of the first lady swatting away Trump’s hand when he reached out to her on an Israeli airport tarmac in May.

However, Trump is believed to have asked for his wife’s approval of his decision to run for president. “While he may not have quite shared his life with her, he gladly shared the spoils of it,” Wolff wrote.

“A happy wife is a happy life.”

Trump has denied the explosive details in “Fire & Fury.” He insists the book is “phony” and “full of lies, misrepresentation and sources that don’t exist.”

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, when asked about administration sources having told Wolff that the president was mentally unstable, called the remarks “disgraceful” and “laughable.”
