Baby's Head Of Hair Blows People Away

Many babies are born bald. Some have a little peach fuzz on top, and it might even be enough to hold a little bow. Occasionally, though, babies are born with a full head of luxurious locks that even an adult would envy. One woman says that her son's 'bouffant' is the reason she ends up taking two hours just to get through a trip to the grocery store. Everyone wants to talk to her and see the baby's beautiful head of hair.

The 32-year-old mom Chelsea Noon had a lot of indigestion. She also had a difficult labor because her son's head got stuck. Perhaps it should have come to no surprise to her, then, when she was handed her baby boy and saw that he had a head of hair that a troll doll might sport.

Little Junior has been granted the nickname 'Little Bear' by his older siblings. Noon says that with his dark, thick hair, her eight-week-old son looks like a bear sometimes. And sometimes, she admits, when he gets mad, he looks like a gremlin.

“When he was born it was quite thick but everybody said it would stop and that a lot of it would fall out," said the mom. “He hasn’t lost any - there’s none in the cot, none in his little chair or the pram, it’s literally just growing and it grows out not down so it sticks up.”

“The doctors say they are amazed and have never seen a baby with so much hair in all the time they have been working. Everyone’s shocked," Noon adds.

The baby's hair is so thick that Noon, a former hairdresser, has to blow it dry just so she can take him out without risking Junior catching a cold. When she does take him out, she gets stopped by total strangers.

“Usually it takes me about 40 minutes to do my weekly shop in Asda and now it takes me two hours,” she said. “Everyone stops and says: ‘Oh my god look at the baby’s hair,’ and then the next person will say: ‘He’s got so much hair’."

Junior's hair is becoming so famous, he's even the subject of his own memes. You know you've made it when you're a meme. In one funny image, a model is applying blush in a make-up ad. The top of the blush brush was replaced by little Junior's head.

It's hard not to be drawn to junior. Not just for his poufy head of hair, but for his chubby cheeks and overall cuteness, not to mention his funny personality.

“He’s got a little smirk he puts on he gives a little cry when he wants to be picked up and then you pick him up and he gives you a look as if to say: ‘Yes, I got my own way’," his proud mom says. “His brothers really love him, my youngest is always running up to Junior saying ‘I want to pinch his fat cheeks’."

For now, Noon has no plans of cutting her son's hair. She's curious to see how it looks as it grows out (and up).
