School Attempts to Punish Girl for Punching a Boy, Then Mother Finds Out What the Boy Did

Phone calls home from school in regards to discipline matters for a child can make a trying day seem nearly impossible, especially when it involves a situation where we know our child had a rock-solid reason for their actions.

According to Daily Headline, this busy mom was able to help put things in perspective for the school administrators who failed to heed her daughter’s calls for help in dealing with harassment from another student.

The unidentified mom was having a typically busy day performing her duties as an emergency room nurse when she would be summoned to school to discuss an incident involving her daughter.

It seems that her daughter had slugged a male student in the nose. The boy was continually snapping her daughter’s bra, and she would find little help from the teacher in resolving the incident.

The boy would continue doing his thing without consequence, so the girl took matters into her own hands. That was enough to capture the attention of the teachers and administrators, and they wanted to discuss the matter with the mother.

While they were concerned with disciplinary actions against her daughter, the mom helped to place the matter in perspective for them.

“Oh. And you want to know if I’m going to press charges against him for sexually assaulting my daughter and against the school for allowing him to do it?” the mom said.

The school officials tried to make light of the situation saying it was not as serious as she was making it out to be.

The mom snapped back stating "She defended herself against a sexual attack from another pupil. Look at them; He’s a foot taller than her and twice as heavy. How many times should she have let him touch her? If the person who was supposed to help and protect her in a classroom couldn’t be bothered what should she have done? He pulled her bra so hard it came undone.”

The conversation continued and the mom would go on to report the incident to the school’s superintendent, who assured her the matter would be dealt with and afforded the seriousness it deserves.
