Stranger Sees What Mother Stuffs Into Trunk of Car, Immediately Calls 911

A law-breaking mom in Pennsylvania is back in jail after putting her kids in the trunk of a Corvette and taking off for a ride with a friend.

According to the police report, Jessica Reger, 29, was stopped by police in early July after an anonymous caller reported to 911 that she had put more than one child in the small trunk of a Corvette.
Apparently, Reger’s friend, 29-year-old Ilena Blackburn, was driving the Corvette with Reger in the passenger seat.

When the police opened the trunk, they discovered two children, aged 3 and 5.

Although the kids were not harmed, Reger now faces two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of children and recklessly endangering another person.

She is currently being held at York County jail with $2,500 bail.

The driver Blackburn was also charged with recklessly endangering another person.

Local media reports note it is not known who has custody of the children while their mother is in jail.

Of interest, Reger has been in a good bit of trouble with the law in the past, including prior court cases for shoplifting, disorderly conduct, driving without a license and endangering the welfare of a child, according to court records. She has served time in the state penitentiary.
