Mexican Entrepreneur Fires Back At Donald Trump With New Toilet Paper Brand

A businessman in Mexico was frustrated and furious with the kinds of things he heard the U.S. president say about his country. In his anger, he wondered how he could make a difference. He came up with a crazy idea, and plans to use the profits for a good cause.

When he first began running for president, Donald Trump said, “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best… They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with them. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."

Antonio Battaglia never quite got over that disparaging comment. He came up with an idea that some are calling brilliant, and others are calling offensive. He created a new toilet paper brand named after President Donald Trump.

Battaglia, a corporate lawyer, says he was 'really bothered' by things Trump said about Mexicans on the campaign trail. “My thinking was: We can’t keep quiet, right?”

The businessman signed a contract for the production of $21,400 worth of toilet paper. It's only enough to fill two cargo trucks, but if there is a demand for the product, he hopes to expand.

The brand features a roll of toilet paper with Trump's face and famous comb-over as a mascot. The slogans read “Softness without borders” and “This is the wall that, yes, we will pay for.”

Just to add insult to injury, Battaglia promises to donate a whopping 30 percent of the proceeds to support migrants.

He told the Associated Press, "with this insult that was made, [I figured] I’m going to add my grain of sand in response."

The lawyer isn't risking a lawsuit from the litigious president, either. He found a weakness in Trump's trademark and worked around it. The Trump Organization failed to obtain a 'hygienic paper' trademark, according to Mexico’s Institute of Industrial Property.

Battaglia isn't the only person to come up with the idea. TrumpToiletPaper.net sells novelty rolls of toilet paper featuring the president's puckering face. Each sheet on the roll is printed with an environmentally-friendly soy ink that is guaranteed not to smear or smudge so that you can make the president kiss your butt.

This 'made in America' Trump Toilet Paper is available on Amazon for $12.95 per roll.

Trump gag gifts are becoming a real boom for the economy. You might want to pair your Trump Toilet Paper with a Trump Toilet Talker - a talking toilet paper roll that is activated when it is spun.

You'll hear the president saying in his own voice some of the things that many have found his most outrageous comments.

One Etsy shop sells Donald Trump Doggie Poop Bags. Another sells Donald Trump toilet decals - you can affix them easily to the bottom of your bowl and take a dump on the president's head whenever you're feeling frustrated.
