President Blocks Chrissy Teigen On Twitter After She Drops 5-Word Bomb On Him

President Trump’s usage of Twitter has been raising a lot of eyebrows around Washington. When he’s not lambasting the ‘Fake News’ or defending his family and administration from allegations of Russian collusion, President Trump is blocking people on Twitter.

Now, Chrissy Teigen, a Sports Illustrated model and talk show host, is the latest to be blocked by the President of the United States.

According to Ms. Teigen, President Trump blocked her when she responded to the President’s tweet – "It's very sad that Republicans, even some that were carried over the line on my back, do very little to protect their president" – with this: "Lolllllll no one likes you.”

After she realized she was blocked, Ms. Teigen was bemused rather than angry, telling her 6.4 million Twitter followers: "After 9 years of hating Donald J Trump, telling him 'lol no one likes you' was the straw."

That’s right, Ms. Teigen has been a vocal critic of Donald Trump for 9 years! Earlier this year, Ms. Teigen spoke to USA Today, declaring that she has "actually been a big Donald Trump hater [for a long time]. I've been trolling him for about five to seven years now. I've been doing this forever, and I take pride in that."

In 2016, Ms. Teigen’s online criticism of Donald Trump became even more pronounced. In a flurry of tweets, the famous model slammed Trump as a presidential candidate, writing: “I will never stop talking about how horrible Donald Trump is.

Even after he loses, I will set an alert to my phone to remind me to not stop,” and “donald trump is not just unfit to be president. he is unfit to be human. he is truly, truly, a f*****g monster.”

This is not the first time that President Trump has blocked someone that criticizes him via Twitter. Renowned author Stephen King is one of the most high-profile members of the ‘blocked club.’ King was blocked after he tweeted:

“Trump's cabinet offers a postgraduate-level course in ass-kissing,” and “If Ivanka Trump had grown up in farm country, like some of us, she'd know her father is reaping exactly what he sowed.” King shared the sad news with his followers, sarcastically writing: “Trump has blocked me from reading his tweets. I may have to kill myself.”

In a bizarre protest, 7 people (who have been blocked by President Trump) have decided to file a lawsuit against Donald Trump. The plaintiffs are currently claiming that Trump’s decision to block them was unconstitutional, with Jameel Jaffer, the serving attorney, saying:

"The First Amendment principle is well-settled, but the applicability of that principle to this context isn't an issue that the courts have yet had many occasions to address.”

Because President Trump’s Twitter account, which he has referred to as “modern day presidential,” is seen as a source of official statements, Jaffer is confident that, by blocking Americans from reading his presidential pronouncements, the president is flouting the First Amendment.
