Woman Shouts 'Honor The President' At Show - Billy Crystal Has Perfect Response

Billy Crystal appeared on Tuesday night's episode of 'The Tonight Show' to chat with host Jimmy Fallon about his recent tour. Crystal says he doesn't usually like to get political, but he couldn't help throwing a little shade at Donald Trump. When a heckler couldn't let it go, Crystal used Trump's own words on the person.

Crystal is a Hollywood legend. His career began in the 1970s when he got attention in his role as Jodie Dallas on the ABC sitcom, 'Soap'. He was one of the first actors to portray an openly gay character on prime-time television.

After 'Soap', Crystal had a string of successful films, including 'When Harry Met Sally' in 1989, 'City Slickers' in 1991 and 'Analyze This' in 1999. The native New Yorker is perhaps probably best known for voicing the role of Mike Wazowski in Disney's 'Monsters, Inc.' franchise. Crystal also hosted the Academy Awards nine times.

Crystal has never been one to tackle controversial political issues, but he occasionally throws out a zinger. With his soft-edge wit, it’s usually not something audiences find too offensive. But as Crystal explained to Fallon, in a recent appearance, one woman just couldn’t let him get away with a remark about Trump.

And Crystal couldn’t let her get away with her complaint.

Crystal told Fallon it was the first time he'd been on tour in a long while doing stand-up comedy. He got a little political in one part of his show. Even though he's not a 'big puncher' on those things, Crystal couldn't resist.

"This guy [Trump], he's so unpredictable, I think this may be the first time the Secret Service wrestles the president to the ground to keep him safe from us. His approval rating is 38, the Zika virus is 40."

One woman in the audience yelled at Crystal 'from out of the darkness', saying, "Honor the president!”

The crowd began booing the heckler, and Crystal told the audience he would handle it. He explains to Fallon that dealing with a female heckler is particularly difficult, so he went at it gently.

Crystal tried to explain to the woman that they were just joking and having a good time. He told her he respects that she stands behind the president, but basically Crystal explained to her that she's gotta lighten up.

The woman wouldn't lighten up, though. And she shouted again (to more boos), "Honor the president."

Crystal felt like he was losing the audience. The woman was just putting a damper on a great comedy show, so Crystal told her, "Ma'am, I'm gonna use your own president's words on you if you love him so much," Crystal says. "Get her out."

The audience rose to their feet as the woman was escorted out, shaking her fist and yelling threats.

Crystal says that later at a 'meet and greet', the woman's husband came back stage. He stayed for the whole show, even after his wife was ejected.

"I love you," the husband told Crystal.
