9-Year-Old Breaks Bad News To Parents: She Doesn't Believe In Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus

The naïveté and honesty of children is touching and can even become entertaining. Take, for example, the letter that a 9-year-old girl named Lexi recently sent to her parents about the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny.

In her absolutely adorable (and heart-breaking!) letter, Lexi starts by explaining to her parents that she simply doesn't believe in the Tooth Fairy any more.

"I know it's you who gets the money and puts it under my pillow, mom and dad," Lexi writes in her expose letter.

Most entertainingly, Lexi seems more worried about how her parents might take the news, instead of being troubled by the loss of one of childhood's most well known figures.

"I'm sorry if this is hard for you, but I'm nine now," she continues, trying to soften the blow for her parents.

Lexi then follows her frank debunking of the Tooth Fairy by telling her parents she doesn't believe in Santa Claus either and that the Easter Bunny is not who is actually hiding the Easter eggs.

Not surprisingly, Lexi ends her letter with the cutest PS: “P.S. Daddy, I knew it was you last Easter, hiding my Easter eggs!”
